When things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems as an uphill: When the funds are low and the debts are high: And you want to smile, but you have to sign; When care is pressing you down a bit . . . Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems a far, So stick to the fight when you're the hardest hit . . . It's when things go wrong, that you must not quit.

In one seat a wispy old man sat holding a bunch of fresh flowers. Across the aisle was a young girl whose eyes came back again and again to the man’s flowers. The time came for the old man to get off. Impulsively he thrust the flowers into the girl’s lap. “I can see you love the flowers,” he explained, “and I think my wife would like for you to have for you to have them. I’ll tell her I gave them to you.” The girl accepted the flowers, then watched the old man get off the bus and walk through the gate of a small cemetery.

One night a man dreamed, that he was walking along the beach with the Lord, across the sky flashed scenes from his life, for each scene, he noticed two set of footprints, one belonging to him and the other to the Lord . . . When the last scene of his life flashed b4 him, he looked back at the footprints, he noticed, that many times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints, he also noticed that it happened at that very lowest and saddest times of his life . . . This bothered him and, and he quetioned the Lord abt it: " Lord, u said, that once i decided to follow you , u'd walk with me all the way, but i've noticed, that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints, I don't understand why, when i needed you most, you would leave me." The Lord replied : " My son, I love you and i would never leave you, during your times of trial, when you have seen only one set of footprints, it was then when i carried you...

A university professor challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists? A student bravely replied, "Yes, He did!" "God created everything?" the professor asked. "Yes, sir," the student replied. The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists. And according to the principal that our works Define who we are, then God is evil." The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with himself, and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the faith in God is a myth.
